BEFORE YOU REACH OUT

A Few Things Worth Knowing.

Q1. What happens after I submit the form or schedule a call?

Form submissions and Calendly bookings are reviewed personally by Alex Weinberger. A confirmation comes back the same day, or the next business day if the message arrives in the evening. Scheduled calls hold on the calendar exactly as booked; there is no intermediary, no scheduling reroute, and no scripted intake call before the actual conversation. The first conversation is with the person who will be doing the work on the case.

Q2. Is the first consultation really complimentary, and is there any obligation?

Yes. The first conversation is complimentary, runs 30 minutes, and carries no obligation of any kind. Its purpose is to understand the situation in broad terms and determine whether and how Marriage Financial Solutions can be useful in the case. If the firm is not the right fit, that will be said directly, and a referral to a more appropriate professional is made where possible. Engagement only proceeds if both sides decide it makes sense after the first call.

Q3. How private is this conversation?

All communications are confidential. Form submissions are encrypted in transit, calendar bookings store only the information needed to confirm the appointment, and conversations themselves are private by default. The firm does not share inquiry details with attorneys, advisors, or anyone else without express permission. For prospects in particularly sensitive situations, the first conversation can take place by phone rather than video, and an email or call can be made from outside any shared family device.

Q4. I have not told anyone yet that I am considering divorce. Is it appropriate to reach out now?

Yes, and earlier conversations are often the most useful ones. Many clients first engage when they are still in the process of deciding whether divorce is the right path, before any attorney has been retained. The financial questions in those early conversations are often what move the larger decision from abstract to concrete. Reaching out at this stage carries no obligation and creates no record that anyone else will see.

Q5. What information should I have ready for the first call?

Nothing is required for the first conversation. The call is structured to be useful with whatever information is at hand, including no information at all. If specific documents would be helpful for follow-up analysis, the firm will request individual items after the call rather than in advance. The first conversation is not a homework assignment, and the focus is on understanding the situation rather than collecting paperwork.

Q6. Where is the office, and are remote consultations available?

The office is at 10866 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 830, in West Los Angeles. In-person consultations are welcomed there. Most engagements, including for clients across Los Angeles, the Westside, the South Bay, and elsewhere in California, are conducted by video or phone, with documents exchanged through a secure encrypted portal. Either format works equally well, and the choice can be made based on what feels most comfortable for the case.
